General Manager Job DescriptionPeople1.Screen and interviewed potential team members.2.Train and cross-training team members.3.Ensures team members do training on Dlive/Pie Net and helps to develop Team Trainers.4.Provides feedback and coaching to all team members regularly.5.Develop one team member for Shift Leader position.6.Listens to team member concerns and is approachable.7.Treats all team members fairly, with respect.8.Resolves conflict among team members effectively.9.Builds sense of team during shifts and keeps crew moving with secondary duties.10.Sets high standards for appropriate team behavior on shift.11.Trains new Shift Leaders in transition to management team--helps team members understand new role.Operations1.Effectively conducts daily open/close activities. (Inventory, post deliveries, closing system duties)2.Creates a positive Role Model for the crew including conduct.3.Effectively monitors food safety and quality (verify temps 2X per day4.Delegates and follows-up effectively.5.Communicates effectively with team.6.Is capable of handling irate customers with a friendly/calm attitude.7.Is flexible in dealing with changes/problems (e.g., short staffed).8.Shifts priorities and goals as work demands change.9.Coaches team daily to ensure product quality and great service.10.Coaches team members on methods to improve service/quality during shifts.11.Effectively identifies restaurant problems through reports and can generate ideas to resolve.12.Role models great customer service for the team.13.Seeks, listens and responds to customer feedback.14.Coaches team on how to exceed customer expectations.15.Does not blame others; takes accountability for problems.16.Bases decisions on facts, not emotions.17.Ensures previous nights deposit is taken to the bank. Monday morning- take all weekend deposits18.Coach team members on Services Goals and hits targets (Load/eADT/Singles/Extremes19.Completes a Self OER 1X per week20.Identify bottlenecks and corrects them during the shift21.Hold crew & managers accountable to uniform and grooming standards22.Ensure daily cleaning is done throughout the day23.Complete Daily Mgr checklistsProfit1.Coaches Team on 5 basics of pizza making (Rim/Size/Portion/Placement/Bake)2.Scales on line and being used during your shift- coach team members on products3.Helps to identify high variance items and offer solutions to correct food cost4.Accurate food/paper inventory done- no auto calculate used- variances double counted5.Monitors labor during the shift and sends people home if sales are low6.Ensures crew takes their breaks and break violations do not occur (5 hr rule) on your shift7.Ensures doors are closed for safety and security to prevent robbery or theft
