The Subway Challenge: This position leads and manages the Product Management & Development of Subway's global Menu platform used across 105 countries and 30,000+ restaurants. This role works with Subway's business and technology stakeholders to define the strategy, technology vision, & product roadmap for the Menu Platform. This role owns the solution architecture, software development and deployment for the Menu Platform across North America and International markets. The Senior Director of Menu Platform will also oversee the Menu Data Services team responsible for the menu data and content across the global menu platform.

The Subway Super Skills :

• Align with the Subway business & technology stakeholders on the strategy, product vision, and target roadmap for the Menu Platform to drive the transformation of Subway's digital and international growth
• Direct and manage the software development team for across all systems in the Menu Platform (MM2, MMA, & NAT) to
  successfully execute the product roadmap on-time and on-budget
• Oversee the Menu Data Services team to own the menu data and content across all menu applications (MM2, MMA, NAT, &
  AMP) to support menu products for North America and International across POS, Digital Direct (Web/App), and 3rd Party
  Delivery partners
• Collaborate with the Enterprise Architecture group on defining, communicating, and enforcing best practices around defined architectural patterns for digital engineering and marketing technologies
• Lead business & technology Governance and Steering Committee programs for all Menu Platform initiatives

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
• 10+ Years of Experience in Technology
• Proven leader, with the ability to delegate, motivate and inspire product management & development teams
• An ability to cultivate and build collaborative working relationships with a broad range of cross-functional stakeholders
• An ability to effectively influence others through partnership and coaching to modify their opinions, plans, or behaviors
• An ability to communicate complex and technical issues to diverse audiences, orally and in writing, in an easily-understood, authoritative, and actionable manner, following best practices where applicable and practical to raise the bar
• An appreciation for understanding and avoiding technical debt when balancing time-to-market pressures
• Expert level System Architecture, System Design, and Systems Integration skills and experience
• Advanced interpersonal, problem-solving, oral communication and written communication skills
• Ability to effectively communicate abstract concepts in verbal, written, and visual forms at all levels in the organization, translating technical information into business language and concepts
• Comfort leading highly complex development projects under tight timetables, with distributed teams
• Experience establishing a common architecture vision that is shared by technology and business stakeholders
• Experience in the discovery, analysis, and application of industry trends
• Experience identifying, analyzing, and mitigating technology risks
• Excellent balancing internal teams and external partners / vendors to deliver projects on time
