Service Writer - Customer Service Advisor
Job Description
We are seeking a Customer Service Advisor to join our team! You will be responsible for helping customers by providing product and service information and resolving technical issues.
Charleston, SC area boat dealer searching for a customer service advisor. This position is responsible for managing the flow of boat and engine service work for customer requests including the service walk around, estimating jobs, scheduling technicians, managing work flow and invoicing the work. This position requires a mechanical background as well as excellent keyboard skills, front line customer service experience and an ability to multi-task in a fast paced retail environment. Familiarity with boats and marine engines a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Estimating jobs
- Scheduling work
- Invoicing
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints
- Provide information during service
- Troubleshoot and resolve service issues and concerns
- Document and update customer records based on interactions
- Develop and maintain a knowledge base of the evolving products and services
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service, sales, or other related fields
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Positive and professional demeanor
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent keyboarding skills
