What will you be doing?

Performs manual labor along a production line. Operates and troubleshoots production line machinery and computers. May perform minor repairs, as necessary.

Essential Functions

  • Wire, assemble, and install electrical and electronic components according to drawings
  • Perform tests on finished products before packaging
  • Complete device history records and daily production logs
  • Maintain a clean and safe workspace
  • Complete other tasks as necessary
  • Perform equipment change-overs.
  • Responsible for quality control. Adjust as necessary to produce product within specifications. Reject product outside of specifications.
  • Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs).
  • Count finished product to ensure PO is complete.
  • Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) on production line machinery.
  • Clean and maintain work area (5S).
  • Turn off equipment when not in use.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

  • A high school diploma or GED certificate
  • Soldering experience
  • Wiring experience a plus
  • Mechanical aptitude and the ability to follow directions
  • Manual dexterity
  • Basic knowledge of electrical theory (AC/DC)
  • Electrical and mechanical diagnostic and assembly abilities
  • Proficient in computer operation
