Registered Nurse - OR
Looking for a day shift job with no weekends or holidays? Want to enjoy the early fall in northern Michigan? We are assisting our client to find a compassionate and caring Registered Nurse to fill a 3-month assignment in Traverse City, Michigan. This registered nurse opportunity is working 4 10-hour shifts (645a- 715p). Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years experience in OR and 1 one year experience as a traveler. NEURO experience is required. This is an excellent travel job with great pay and benefits.
Responsibilities of the OR Registered Nurse
Assumes responsibility and accountability for functioning as the OR nurse in assisting with the nursing care activities and surgical services provided to a specific group of neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult or geriatric patients consistent with the philosophy, goals, policies and procedures of the Nursing Department and Hospital Administration.
Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate care to the age of the patient served on the nursing unit or by patient care department.
Requirements of the OR Registered Nurse
At least 2 years experience as an OR nurse - Required
Neuro experience
CNOR Preferred
ACLS
Michigan RN license
