Role Summary/Purpose:
Synchrony is continuing to build a world class creative organization committed to driving results with our retail and payments partners while also delivering leading customer experiences. Our Digital Creative team is focused on creating and producing campaigns and content for digital channels. We are seeking an Associate Creative Director who has a passion for creating award-winning work and is an excellent conceptual/strategic thinker, as well as a natural collaborator, storyteller, and creative leader. Our ideal candidate has exceptional design skills for all things digital, such as interactive banners, eye catching social media design, email campaigns, consumer journeys, rapid prototypes, and brand campaigns including still and motion-based executions while working within a digital production environment. The Associate Creative Director solves problems in collaboration with creative directors, copywriters, designers, developers, videographers, producers and more. A key responsibility includes designing and overseeing digital national advertising and marketing campaigns for business platforms across the Synchrony enterprise that focus on internal and external B2B and B2C campaigns.
This position is remote, where you have the option to work from home. On occasion we may request for you to commute to our nearest office for in person engagement activities such as team meetings, training and culture events. Essential Responsibilities:
Responsible for concepting, executing, and creative directing a wide range of social media ads, web pages, email, programmatic and interactive display banners and UX/UI design (mobile first).
Must have the ability to implement animation and interactivity for the format and platform. This requires front-end web skills (HTML, Javascript & CSS) as well as motion graphics capabilities (Adobe After Effects, Premiere).
Direct and concept innovative product marketing communications, executive leadership presentations and web projects such as website design, digital dashboards, and mobile apps that are also supported by data and performance metrics.
Present creative work to team members including Creative and Account Directors, external clients, internal clients/stake holders and internal senior leadership; as well as being able to handle multiple critiques/feedback.
Manage assigned aspects of digital design work done by Art Directors, Copywriters, Designers, Digital Developers, Web Designers, Animators, and Videographers with any additional outside vendors as they relate to a project.
Follow a creative brief and work with Account Managers to ensure assignment is clearly outlined and estimated.
Questionclient/marketingstrategywhenitdoesntalignwithmarket research or meet the needs of the consumer.
Mentor and support junior/mid-level creatives; sharing knowledge, encouraging collaboration, participation, and creative thinking.
Keep up with latest digital, animation and prototyping software and new technologies in AR, VR and cinematography.
Experience designing and building interactive, web-based navigation, banners, games and/or other immersive content
Responsible for creation and management of templated dynamic solutions to streamline high-volume production for large scale projects.
Advocate for establishing and following best practices, ensure the team adheres to those best practices, and take the initiative to offer creative direction and creative solutions.
Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements :
Bachelors Degree. In lieu of degree, a high school diploma and 12+ years of work experience in digital design and/or video in an advertising agency, digital agency, or video production company.
A minimum of 8+ years of professional delivering integrated and digital projects, advertising/digital agency experience coordinating interactive digital content from initial stage to final execution within an in-house creative group.
Proficientwith digital production tools similar to Adobe CC Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, XD, Animate, After Effects and Premiere. (Knowledge of Workfront a plus)
Must be comfortable within a fast-paced digital production environment.

You have Solid experience with UX/UI and web-based user centered design approach.
You have excellent knowledge of the digital landscape.
You possess a strong understanding of interactive platforms ranging from web to CRM.
Youre interested in world-changing leaps in technology and have a healthy disrespect for the impossible.

Eligibility Requirements:
You must be 18 years or older
You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process
You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 24 months time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you dont meet the time in position or performance expectations).

The salary range for this position is 75,000.00 - 150,000.00 USD Annual
Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA and Metro NY and some positions are bonus eligible.
