Job Description
Role:
We're looking for a talented Test and Debug engineer to manage test automation, test creation and debug of UEFI on Surface products and enable shipping of top-quality products.
Desired Skills:
• Demonstrated proficiency in C, Python, Robot Framework and any other test automation scripts.
• Strong problem solving and debugging skills in SW/FW/HW.
• Ability to comprehend board hardware schematics, data sheets and technical specs.
• Strong communication skills required, including the ability to clearly express technical concepts.
• Needs to be able to take some late calls (1-2x/week) to communicate with offshore resources.
• Experience with UEFI, EDK2 and UEFI Shell programming a definite asset.
• Experience with bug tracking and project management tools
